For applicants to be qualified for direct deposit, they must have already turned in their 2021 tax returns.

Limit on Income

For single people, the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) must be less than $75,000, and for couples reporting jointly, it must be less than $150,000.

Child Tax Credit 2024 Payment Details

The Child Tax Credit for 2024 gives families a lot of money to help with:

Families with kids younger than 6 will get a total of $3,600 a year, split up into $300 payments each month.

To help families with kids ages 6 to 17, the government will give them a total of $3,000 a year, split into $250 payments each month.
