If you are eligible for the refund, you should know that this year’s October 15th is a Sunday and you might get your CAIP on Monday. Because you chose direct deposit as your payment method, you will get your refund that way. But if you owe money to the Canada Revenue Agency for taxes, this amount will be changed to reflect the amount you owe.
Everyone who is qualified for the CAIP is told to wait at least ten days after the payment date to see if they got their money. You can call 1-888-863-8662 or 1-888-863-8657 to get in touch with the government about welfare or tax return debt.
How Do I Know If I Am Eligible for Carbon Tax Rebate?
Eligibility to get the CAIF incentive amount is simple to determine. If you are a resident of Canada for income tax at the start of the month in which the CRA makes the payment, you are entitled to get the rebate. You must have attained 19 years of age in the months before the CRA makes the four instalment payments. But if you are under 19, you must fulfil any of the conditions listed below.
